We purchased a villa in Florida this year and are working to fix it to suit our needs and taste. We looked for several years and decided to buy in Bradenton. It is close to everything, has many attractions, and is close to two airports so we can get in and out easily. Our villa is a modest yet very nice two bedroom two bath unit that has a great location and is in a well run and quiet community. We are about 1 mile from the closest secluded beach and 2.6 miles from Anna Maria Island, one of the top beach locations in the country. It will take a couple of years to get it updated and everything fixed. Most of the items that need attention are not expensive projects, just hard work and some creativity. Kathy is doing the design and planning and helping with the work. It really is a joint project and she loves doing it with me. I will update you on the progress as we complete our work.
