Spring time in Iowa is one of my favorite times. We get all kinds of weather and the plants really are beautiful as they wake up and start to bloom. Today the phlox are really blooming and the pond area in our back yard is very colorful. Violent storms this week gave way to some great plant growth. Last night it was downright cold, but we wrapped up in blankets and sat outside because the air was fresh and crisp, and our local friends were all together to enjoy it.
